    depends what youre looking for/in what condition/from whom. a mill seems like something youd have to look around a bit before finding used.

    new theyre around $5000 +-

        link is to a mill. i would do some research to find better known brandnames. i'm pretty sure bridgepoint is one. i would avoid that linked one, as it sounds like a cheapy mill.

        check craigslist for local ones, because shipping would be a *****.

          Any of the Rong Fu mills(imported under various names) will do you better than that old Knee mill in the auction. Get a benchtop mill to start off with. DRO is almost a must. Powerfeed is sweet too. Remember... you will need to spend thouands in tooling no matter which one you buy....

                  DRO=Digital Read Out

                  Powerfeed= Electrical motor that traverses the table instead of having to crank the handles.

                    If I was you I'd try and find a used bridgeport or bridgeport clone. Also try and get all the tooling that you can along with it in a package deal and that will save you lots of $$$.

                    Check craigslist.org like someone already said, or you can also do an advanced search on E-bay and search listings within a certain amount of miles from your zip code.
