I am a DJ. Actual DJ with Vinyl (NOT CD's). I have 2 Numark TTX1's and one has a problem with the spindel, It rubbin on the platter and I can't fix it. What places can I go to get it tuned up?\

at aged 16 you might have been aware of musical influences for what 5 maybe 6 years. Back to the equipment Technics have been at the top for a long time for good reason, infact they were never intended for industrial use as they were designed as a home use only turntable. The arms have changed over the years with the gimbal being the most obvious change, a few cosmetic updates but still the turntable to have, all others are pretenders, as since when do you actually need more than 8% speed differential unless you have an outboard effects processor to change the key.


what a con that was. CD's have an accuracy with them and the skills with which to bring out precision mixing with CD's is actually a lot harder to hone. Somewhat like if you can Roller skate you can Ice skate but not the other way around, if you can mix with vinyl you might be able to mix with CD's but if you can mix with CD's you CAN mix with vinyl.
