hahhahaha. That guy does not know how to ride a motorcycle (not that I really can, but that's another point). He could have gone through that corner at 120mph.

I've got an old motorcyclist magazine in front of me, and the 2003 CBR600RR makes 105.4hp at 445lbs wet. That's old. And it's a 600! You can get a 1000cc bike for around 10 grand that makes about 140hp and weighs under 400lbs. That's totally stock, throw a turbo in a busa and you can push 300 hp on a bike that's street legal.

You can buy the sticker kit for an extra 6 dollars, that makes it a lot quicker.

id rather have a bike instead of that, one its a chick magnet and 2 its a lot faster. The new R6 has roughly 175 horse power at the rear wheel stock. plus they look bad

You sure you aren't thinking the R1? I think 175 is a little high at the wheel even for R1. I agree though. The R6 is sick looking. I almost bought one but I couldn't afford the insurance.

alright, zero to sixty in 2.9 seconds....... thats freakin fast....... more hp per ton than an enzo ferrari...... i dont think there are many things faster than that.... and just look at his face in the acceleration..... he said "nothing like it on 4 wheels" and as i recall he drove the bugatti veyron.... and only for $30,000 wow..... its a supercar

Ya i know i didnt get one cause of insurance either. They want like 2500 a year to insure them and i can only ride like 4 good months a year here anyways.

keep in mind the currency exchange rate. But still, all that for around 50g's aint bad.

You might be right. The R1 makes 183 hp, so the R6 has got to be up there too. That's pretty good at 381 lbs dry weight. http://www.body-kitz.com/motorcycles/2006r1web/

I was quoted at 1450 a year on the R6. That's without collision or comp coverage. I'm getting an FZ6 pretty shortly, and I'd like to get an R6 or an R1 after I'm 25 years old. That'll drop the insurance a ton. The riding season is short here too, but there have been a few warm days in January that I went riding. That's a little bit unusual.
