Time for a Medallion Hunt! Riddles galore!

Our university has a Medallion hunt every spring, and the person who finds the medallion get the first room pick (which is usually a apartment-sized quad that takes up the top floor of a dorm...nicknamed the Manor Tower). A new clue will be emailed daily. The problem is, I suck at riddles. So I have thrown myself at the mercy of AO, to help me in my noble quest of honor, and to find the Medallion, so that I may live in comfort next year. Help if you want, throw in some ball-park guesses, but let's try and solve this damn thing.

First Clue:

Clue 1: A frozen game without a name
Stuck on a wall they chase a ball

The mural/picture/painting is a good start...in particular, look for one of a football game going on in the snow...

Try a photograph of a basketball game, or something like that. I know my athletic center has a whole bunch of sports photos up. Probably not a mural, but maybe a photograph?

the picture/painting idea is good, ill have to run through all the buildings and look for a sports oriented painting. maybe its depicting a game that actually doesnt have a name, either because its just people tossing a ball or abstract? i never even considered that it could be a painting, so thanks guys.

the next clue will be posted tomorrow morning after i check my email.

I dont know, a frozen game might have a double meaning, like its a picture 'frozen' or maybe its something like ice hockey?

the medallion was found less than 30 MINUTES after the first clue was posted. I posted this thread about 1 hour after the clue was posted. Sorry guys, but I had no chance (literally). I want to thank you guys anyways though, because most of your advice was right on target. The medallion was found in the Klas Center Historical Wing (which is a small room with nice leather chairs and a 50 inch PLASMA that I have NEVER seen turned on since I started college) behind the frame of a large picture of an old women's field hockey game. My friend Mark and I started going building-to-building looking for sports pictures/paintings around 4pm today, and about 3 buildings in someone broke us the news about the medallion already being found. I have no doubt that we would have found the medallion today (with the help of you guys, of course).
