Either Phil has scored a collapsable scoot, or he has bought a kit!

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

I think Phil knows what he's ordering when he orders it.

Thats just an early shot of one of the projects I got going. That one is a 1980 Small Frame bike called a Primavera ET3. But I am doing it into a replica (to some extent) of what was a very rare bike model from back in 1960's known as the SS50 and SS90. Had the Dummy gas tank and center mounted spare like that. Most of that SS stuff is reproduciton stuff I got out of Vietnam. They remake it to spec. pretty much. Solid metal stuff. Good quality too oddly enough. And I had badges made up that say SS135 instead of SS50/SS90.

Anyway I had just gotten some of it mocked back up after painting so I snapped that one picture.

General Lee... glad you mentioned that. I noticed some similarities in the color. Not certain what the General Lee use. This, oddly enough, is Allis Chalmers Orange. Not certain but I do think the General Lee used a tractor Orange. Not certain which one of the two tractor Oranges it did use though. This is The actual Allis Chalmers tractor paint and color. An Enamel. Its a "racer" style bike so its a good color for the project.

This bike will have a 2 stroke 135cc ET3 motor and should be pushing around 60-70 mph. Four speed manual bike is what it is.

For you? I can get you a decent project bike and redo it for about somewhere in the $2500 to 3500 range... Depends on what you want really. Some rare or oddball ones are expensive. Some are not. Some can be hot rodded. Some just stock. So it depends on engine and performance items like anything.

Here is my shop full of them... right now.

Several of these are available and in stages of Restoration.

The Dark Blue one up front is sold and is being finished up, Many of the others are available but the black one is very rare and expensive and a high performance bike. the Red one way in the back is this Orange bike I posted about before paint.... the other red one is s a bike I am working on for someone so its not for sale... but...

The Caramel one in the foreground is a nice bike with a new 5 port 150cc engine. its a 65. The light blue one is a rebuilt 150cc two port 4 speed motor bike and is the oldest one and is a 1961 (actually a 59 body style and an Allstate but with upgrades) Both of those bikes are going to be around $3000 to $4000 when done. If you wanted to do the work yourself and its about half that money now.

Now remember... these are full motorcycles. Manual Shift and kick start. Not twist and go things.

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
