Need a little bit of computer help (IE)

ok so if i posted a hyperlink here (http://www.yahoo.com) and i click on it, only a blank ie window would appear and my curser would show that something is loading and nothing ever does.

in different terms, blank pages pop up when i click on a link to anything that would open up in a new window.

does anyone know how to fix this problem? i tried resetting everything to default but that didnt solve anything.

Does it happen with any link, or just yahoo? Try something like http://www.asdfasdfadsf.com , do you get a 404?

it does it with any hyperlink, i clicked both of those links and it just shows a blank ie window with nothing in the adress bar.

You may have your Security Zone configured to not allow most sites. Check that first. Tools/internet options/security

ehh i took the easy way out and i just used system restore, thx for the help though guys

I've seen people talk about FF so much, so I finally installed it. Thanks for the advice
