Anyone use a Remington Ti microscreen?

I use the Mach 3 on my head, but for my face I prefer the Braun Activator or Syncro (I have both). I have an extremely heavy beard and tend to get bumps on my neck with a blade. The Brauns are kinda pricey, but they're the best I've used so far... Ones I've used in the past include the above mentioned Microscreen, Panasonic's foil shaver and various Norelcos.

I use the Braun Activator too (model 8585). Retails for about $150-160 I think (I got a deal on mine). Switched to that from Gillette's Mach 3 Turbo which I had used for years. My facial hair grows real slow. If I shaved with a blade more than once a week, I'd rip my face up. With the Braun I can shave every day if I wanted without any problems.

The shave isn't as close as the Mach 3, but it's close. The automatic cleaning thing is pretty neat too, though I've got to replace the cartridge now.

Grow a bear? What is it a Chea Pet? A beard now, no thanks. I still like getting my hair cut high and tight. A beard would look like crap. In fact most beards look like crap anyway IMO.

Nobody forced you to join. I've been in the same boat. Syphilis is an STD so I'm fine.

the paintball thing im thinking like mid to late june, ive got a friend coming back on leave in june and the one leaving for boot camp early july so im trying to get them to go too. When i get back from canada ill probably set a date.

Well I was trying not to use it unless I had to. About every 4 days before I felt unbearably scruffy. My beard is slow growing. Anyway I looked down to day and it wiped out another microscreen. I'm done! I have contacted remington countless times with no reply. This thing not only doesn't shave very well, it doesn't hold up neither. Back to a razor for me.

i've been using the schick quatro. it just seems to work better than any other razor i have tried. i used to use the mach 3 turbos... eh. they didnt cut smooth.

Ive had the opposite experience. I got a Shick Quatro in the mail for free, and I have used it a couple of times. I must admit, that is does shave closer, but the Mach 3 is just alot more of a comfortable shave.

I also have an electric razor, but it doesnt cut anywhere near as close as my Mach 3, so I only use it when Im in a hurry.

Here is the thing. I got the Remington as a gift and I wanted it so I could shave quicker. I used to use mach 3's. Not only has this remington been junk, but also it is slow shaving. I'd bet it takes me 3x as long to shave with it as the mach 3 and when it is hot and humid I can't use it at all. My face has to be moisture free.

Same with me. If my face is at all wet, its junk. Pretty much the only thing I use it for is to keep the hair managable and so that once I do get around to really shaving, I get a better shave.

Well it has been a week of use I guess. The Gillette Fusion is awesome. Face is as smooth as a babies bottom and it is way faster to shave with it vs the microscreen. Gillette has it's job back.
