New world record??? Maybe!

Tonight my dad, his buddy Ray, and I loaded two semis with hay in 3 hours... They were 48 foot drop decks and we got approximately 615 bales on each trailer. I was on the trailer along with Ray and my dad was on the forklift bringing the bales to us. We started at 4 and got done at exactly 7. I'm plumb wore out.

The bales weigh about 65 lbs. each so Ray and I each moved about 20 tons of hay. Oh and to top it off, 3 days ago I was so sick I couldn't get out of bed and 2 days ago I busted my little toe on my right foot.

Good times... good times.

And on the calories, that's something Ray and I talked about while loading... It's got to be quite a bit!

*EDIT* After you got me started thinking I found this cool website. I'd compare it in physical activity to chopping firewood, and the website claims I burn 14 calories per minute chopping wood. Therefore 14X180minutes = 2430calories burned. That's like one meal for me!

i'd think it would be more than 14 calories a minute... you averaged like 6.8 bales a minute so 14 sounds kinda low
/you should host a fat camp at your farm. I know some people who could use a kick in the *** and lose 50lbs
