This has been taking all my time and money.

Yeah yeah, I am a Dayspring Jr...only with a cooler X. Ya know what's odd, I use to make fun of Nick, but this wheelin' stuff is a lot of fun.

Here are some pics and specs of my Xterra. I am adding things to it weekly, so these pics are about as new as I got.

    2005 Xterra Off-Road Auto (Granite)

    Mods:
    Removed rear swaybar
Removed mud flaps (front and rear)
    Removed step rails
    Herculined lower body
    Shrockworks sliders
    Shrockworks front bumper
    AC 2.5" AAL lift
    AC 1.5" rear shackles
    Bilstein long travel rear shocks
Cobra 75 ST WX CB w/ 4' Firestik II antenna
    Yakima X-Tower brackets (Hi-Lift mounts)
    Southco locking roof bin handle
    Alpine HU
    Scangauge
Tow hitch w/ shackle (rear recovery point)
Warn XD9000i winch w/ amsteel blue synthetic rope and aluminum HAWSE fairlead
Hella 500 driving lights (mounted on bumper)

When I first got it back in July 2005

Before Shrock Sliders (yeah, I got rocker damage)

    Yep, big old dent

After I fixed the damage, herculined the lower part of the doors and installed the sliders

After I installed the Shrock front bumper

Get yourself a new set of "shoes" and that's one great trail rig.

    Nicely done Jason!

I bet the increased torque and HP help on the trails. Front travel is still going to be limited by the Independent suspension, but it HAS to be better than the previous incarnation.

Once I kill mine, I'll probably get another. It's been real good to me. (but I've sold off all the off-road stuff except the sliderz. don't do it anymore.)

Yeah, tires will be on it before ECXC in July. Someone needs to come out with wheels for it first. I am looking at picking up a set of TSL Boggers.

Nick, I am enjoying wheeling so much more than I have enjoyed paintball over the last, oh, 8 years or so. Why they hell did you get out of it?

Doesn't look look your in the heavy mud, I'd look into Claws or the new Toyo M/T's (<-my next tire)

        X looks great though!

          Wheelings a blast. Looking good

Been playing in the dirt for over 6 years but only got my first 4x4 2 months ago. I have beten the poop out my 2wd pickups for long enuf and finaly got myself a 4wd and am amazed at what i can put it though.

Its only a nearly stock 1996 Ford Ranger.
          Maule locking front hubs
          30" x 9.5" LT Cooper tires
and some brains and it does fairly well.

I cnt afford to do mutch with it as its my daily driver but i plan on getting another 2wd truck in a year or soo and makeing this one a toy.

Heres a pic of my little rig after some light fun
AGD 68 Automag, Azodin KP2, Sheridan PGP2, Tippmann Pro/Carbine, Crossover XVR, SL-68II, and TiPX.

They will be trail only tires (and to get me to the trail). That is the reason for needing wheels. There is enough ugly mud around here for boggers to get their use. I'll keep the stock tires on for road driving until they are shot and then I'll replace them with BFG KO's.

                    Cuz I joined BlackCell.

And I enjoyed paintball more than wheeling. Yeah, I've seen some cool places but I didn't like the idea of really damaging my daily driver.

I hope the boggers fit... They were a tough fit on the 2000-2004 models. I ran BFG MTs for a while. GREAT tire.

my dad had a really nice land cruiser and my mom had a really nice Jeep when i was born. they met through a 4-wheeling club but they had to sell both the trucks for a 'family' car when my sisters were born. my mom's getting another jeep now.

my cousin still has a nice jeep.
