Unfortunately that video gave me a headache, I assume the speaker graduate from some college, or at least highschool. The man had two words "um" and "procedural".

The big deal about Spore is that the world is created by players, and rendered and snimated procedurally. As you play, different elements from other player's games/worlds will be loaded into your, in order to keep each player's world a balanced ecosystem. This is going to create a huge vareity of game play at each of the different 'levels' of the game, and create literally endless gameplay options. You gotta give Will Wright credit for coming up with something so damn cool. Who cares if his public speaking skills aren't all that good. That's what you get when you put a supergeek on stage.

I have been watching this one for a while, and I almost wish that they hadnt shown these clips. I hate having to sit here watching that video over and over again untill spore finally comes out in 2007.
