Promotion time!

Well today I was promoted to "C2" or in this case a security team leader. We secure a Dept. Homeland Security compound on an airfield. A little extra BS of course but comes with my own upped Excursion and a small $9K raise. Oh and semi-private accomodations also (shared with another C2 who works opposite shift from me). I've been on site here less than a month so that worked out good.

very cool recon...now the trick is to convert the excursion to a tank (paintball tank)

Guarenteed $1 raise a year is not bad. Before I switched to contracting I worked at the same firm for 5.5 years and only received $2 in raises the entire time. The owner always made excuses why he couldn't give any raises out. Finally, I told him he needed to make good on what I should have been making and give me $5 raise immediately...again more excuses. I was making good there but I was making the owner a ton of money and he obviously didn't appreciate it. Shortly after that I shocked him and let him know I was leaving for Iraq in a week!
