You didn't make enough of an attempt to make it different when going home. Did you get out and walk her to the house? Did you make an effort to make it something different than normally taking her home? You are in a situation that can easily fall back to what is comfortable and normal, if you allow it you may leave her wondering. Don't expect her to make movements towards making it something more, generally you will have to.

What it boils down to is you gotta try. Use the old 90/10 rule. You move in 90% of the way for the kiss, and let her make the other 10%. If she doesn't recoil, you are probably good.

Women are often jealous and mean, but rarely without good reason. We have pretty good instincts when it comes to things, and the longer you "hide," the more it seems like you HAVE something to hide, you know? Regardless, I'm glad everything worked out happily for you
