Candice said I should have let it go, and that people coming and going in our lives is part of living.

Maybe so... She is moving out with her boyfriend here shortly and I will move on, but at least now I know that we parted on good terms at least.

in all seriousness, youre girlfriend's jealousy is somewhat understandable; she knows there was something between you and another girl, and therefore isnt comfortable with you having any contact with her. but at the same time, you aren't doing anything wrong; you should be able to talk and maintain a friendship with her, or at the very least say goodbye.
