computer's internet running slowly

I just built up a new computer, and if you guys remember my thread(s) about it, i ran into some roadblocks but everything turned out alright. It's been working pretty well, but surfing the internet on it is a huge pain in the rear. I've got firefox on it with several plug-ins, but its still going SLOW AS CRAP and i cant bear to even wait for pictures to load anymore. On the other hand, I'm on the other computer right now with IE (they are both running off the same router) and pages load way way quicker. Should i reinstall and try IE? i hear firefox was better, but its not doing well at all. Is there a plug in i should get to help speed up my surfing?Some pages just wont even load on it. thanks for the help

You have some other kind of problem... they should both work quickly.

try the extension faster fox ..... but it does sound like you have some sort of other problem as well ... have tried updating the network drivers ?

click start. then click run. type in "cookies" in the box that pops up and delete them.. it did wonders for mine lol... but im sure you have already tried doing that. its pretty common
