I want you guys to really think about this question before you answer it, try to answer it with as few of words as you can. No big paragraphs or anything. What do you value in yourself? If you have trouble answering that, then what do you value in other people?

value in myself? hehe funny... I think the fact that I apempted suicide on 2 different occasions this year should be answer enough.
What I value in others, trust, honesty, consideration, open mind, a personality of their own and how well they can do a friendship! -
Loyalty & Morality I think are the biggest on my list.
As far as other people my 2 are also something I look for in others. Umm... let see... Honesty Would be one, i guess. I can't think of anything right now... too sleepy..

Dedication, Motivation and Honor. I value those above all. Because to understand and value those you must have solid character. To have solid character you must be true to yourself and to others. Which means that you value honesty among other things. Those are what I value most in myself and look for in friends/etc. Its very hard to find trust me...I know only one person who understands those, MantisMag! :)Comment

In me? I would say i value my ability to adapt to different situations and the ability to blend in(with the crowd of whats in and whats out.) I guess its not good at all...rather bad that i am a follower, but in school, if i say something stupid i can cover it up so fast...
In other people, i would say i value, the ability to be nice to me(dont lie people, if someone is nice to u but not others, u wont give a damn, everyone is selfish....and you all know it)Comment

I value the respect that I have. I only hang out w/ people that I respect and that have respect for me.
Respect is all that a person needs to survive anywhere. To get respect you have to have most traits that are listed above, especially loyalty....
I can't stand bullies. If I see some kid sittin' down crying, I'll ask him what happened. If he says some kid was punkin' on him, I'll go find that kid and bust him open. Hell, that happened last Thursday.Comment

HAhaha! AntwanRT, you took those off the posters in the barracks day-room!
As for me? Honor above all. When you are an honorable person, honesty, loyalty, courage, and faith all go hand in hand.
When it can be said of you, "Trust him with anything, he is honorable". Only then, will you have truly lived.

awwwwwww. *sniff* that brought a tear to my eye man. hehe. i value honesty. no bs. none of the games and pretending that most people do. human beings are great deceivers. we deceive others and ourselves because we can't deal with the truth. we fool others into thinking we are something we are not. we fool ourselves into thinking that we are better. we are always right. we are good looking. we are cool. we are funny. other people are stupid, ugly, nowhere near as cool and funny as we are. we attemt to deceive others and make them believe these things as well.Originally posted by udtseal

i value my ability to see clearly. i always attempt to see the other persons side. i deal fairly with people no matter if i dislike them. i do not judge people for their beliefs. i am extremely nice to people that i don't know and i'd do just about anything for my friends. however i'm not very nice to people i don't like. i'm civil, i'm fair, but i don't go out of my way to be nice to them. no "hi how you doing" pretend we're friends bs. nor will i do anything for them that inconveniences me in the least. if i did that i'd be a saint.
if other people have these qualities i respect them as people. that doesn't necessarily make them my friends though. in my friends i value a sense of humor. i like my friends to be playful and childish in a way. i can't stand hanging around with people who are serious all the time. they have to be able to have fun. and i like friends who are unique. i can't stand all the white boys who look exactly alike. khaki pants, plaid shirt, hair turned up in front, frosted tips, and perhaps a silver chain THE SAME SILVER CHAIN EVERYONE ELSE HAS!!! one big link two small links. why does everyone have this same chain? well those are the things i value in myself and other people.
udtseal is his own person. he's honest and straightforward. he can forget everything and act like a little kid have fun run through a toy store. plus we have almost all the same interests. we think alike. we're always saying what the other is thinking. he knew me better a month after i met him than this guy who was my friend for over 10 years. we get along so well it's sickening. that's why he's my best friend.
anybody who now feels nauseous puke over there ------>
