It's fun to pause the movie to see all of the parts where Brad Pitt is in random frames near the begining too.

Of course, it only makes sense after seeing the movie.

I thought the idea of the fight club was a neat idea, I just didnt like the whole split personality and how they went about doing it, I personally found it better in Secret Window, or even High Tension...

it was a pretty cool movie, but have any of you seen this http://www.metaphilm.com/philm.php?id=29_0_2_0

some one came up with the idea that fight club is a senario where calvin and hobbes are grown-up and life has brought out the darker sides of everyone in the comic. interesting read wether you agree or don't.

interesting, and there are quite a few similarities, but a lot of that article is a stretch. chuck palahniuk may have read calvin and hobbes, but i highly doubt that that was the idea he had in writing fight club. its just much easier to make loose connections after the fact.

"The moral of the story is that reality bites, kiddies. Calvin and Hobbes in Fight Club are proof of this sad, sad truth."

ehh, not really. Calvin and Hobbes has a rather positive outlook and is somewhat philosophical, whereas Fight Club is more of a bleak social commentary.

I disagree completely. Fight Club is either a movie that someone likes to watch, a pseudo-cult obsession, or a movie someone doesn't like. In the end, it's a f-ing movie. For example: my mother is one of the least money-obsessed people I know. She hated this movie because she hates violence. Some people dislike the cinematography. I liked it because it stayed kind of true to the book, and I love his style. I dislike the kind of people who went crazy over this movie. They're exactly the same as everyone else; they latch onto this movie, or Rocky Horror, or any other cult classic to be "different," but in the end, they're following a trend just like all the Rocky Horror nuts, or the girls that have to have the latest LV handbags. They're being what they hate, and I find that ironic. And annoying.
