Yeah thanks guys. I just had to get it off my chest...the reason I can't drive is because my left eye is useless and my right eye is 20/80 with corrective lenses..my vision is horrible..like I said I can't make out any letters on an eye chart cept the super large one...and yeah it helps to have people who just listen...thanks...

first off, as for indignant, leave him be, hes being himself...and not hurting anyone, so its good..and thanks guys , ive tried lasik, they wont do it..apparently if the tried to do lasik to the one good eye, it could actually make matters worse, since one eye would be alot better then the other, the good eye may lose sight due to the fact its " sympathizing" for the other eye..least thats the way the worded it to me.., they just saud it was risky and i would have a hard time finding someone do do lasik on only one eye and not the other..im not as depressed as i was a few days ago..i kinda shook it off and buried it...least till the next time i want to drive, or find something i cant read for the life of me..

sometimes its just nice to talk to people when stuff happends. even just on just some random forum. when people relate, it brings back some humanity to your situation, i would know, many people have related to some poor situations me, and numerous others have shared.


you really dont know how cool it is to have a group of people willing to listen and relate to you at anytime until something crappy happends.

hey man, i got terrible vision too, it's correctable, but it's still there. you want me to talk someones cancer away too? maybe someone can chat away my ADD. haha. nahh, man.

my mother had lasik done in only one eye.

an owl with an eye patch?? had to wear one of those damn thing after sugery, i tossed it for aviators...i just blacked out one lens so no light got to the eye, so they just looked like dark aviators..and go ahead post your owl..i wanna see what you came up with..and lasik in one eye..was there any special circumstances??
