My Rant:
Just got the shaft Yesterday from Halquest Stone. Almost $2K for ten yards of decortive stone at the price of $42 a ton? Considering the first five yards with delivery was only $480. They must have read their scales wrong or something. One of my employee's pulled my 550 in to their yard again to pick up some Lannon stone for a padio job and the moron driving the loader raise the arms as high as they go and dumped the bucket now I have a bent Muncipal spring, possiably more damage to the box, frame and suspension, and a truck out of comission, and it sucks cause its a $62,000 99 with only 36K miles on it thats basically scrap now. And now that its off their property they are no longer at fault.
I know my employee's they are good people and they don't mean to do harm to my equipment and I don't want to scream at or fire the driver for not watching how they load their truck. I just wanted to yell at him today what my old boss always screamed at me "Stop thinking, and use your head."
Just spent $8K 6 pallet's (185 Bags) of fertilizer. And another $2K on a pallet of pre-emergent. Jeez! I wish you could buy it by a truck load. And the sad thing is I got a 100 yards of Mulch from Iron Mountian MI being dropped off Monday when I needed it tomorrow.
I hate spring!!! offically
