Dude, I got mine like 3 months ago. I'd have to say it wasn't all that exciting. I mean come on, you're gonna get your permit, and the first person you will drive with will be? Exactly, your parents. It's actually does feel good if you drive with an older sibling, they let me do whatever I want. Getting a driver's license and mine own car will be very sweet though.

Do not scan and display your license on the web. It is too easy to use the DL number to trace your private accounts and Social Security number!

Yeah, I failed my road test twice and passed the third time by 4 points. I was lucky too, cause in my state, if you fail it 3 times you need to request permission from the state to try again

I remember that I didn't get my permit untill I was 16. I just didn't care and I had no money for a car at the time. I hated driving my moms 92 Dodge Caravan so I never drove. I think I only drove it 2 times. Those were the first 2 times I had even driven. Well I saved up my money, found a little car that I liked. Bought it. About 2 months later I went to go get my license. It was only the second time that I had driven this car... (That means that I had only driven 4 times and I couldnt have driven for more than 2 hours total). Well I passed my drivers test on my first try. I am still one of the best drivers I know. Its strange how some of my friends drove all the time with they parents and I only drove 4 times and I passed and they had to take it like 3 times.
