Quite honostly thats not all that messy of a room. Don't get me wrong, my mom tells me to clean my room all the time, and my room looks nothing like that room but I have seen much worse than that picture. It looks like it can be cleaned up pretty easily. The key is throw out all the crap you really don't need.

I've seen a lot worse. Usually after a night of binge drinking. You'd be amazed how long ranch dressing will stay on the ceiling, or that people dont realize the pile of laundry in the corner is soaked in pee.
