AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
LMAO!!! I still get online once in awhile to play for a bit, but I'm not really into it anyomore so I don't "follow the rules" and today I hacked a guy named majic who was on the top of the money list while he was online and got over 1.2 billion dollars!
What's he gonna do about it? Put me in the hospital? Who cares... I don't even play that much anymore!
..holy crap!!!
That is some awesome stats, is there an ancient chinese secret to go up that fast?
Step one: Donate, and get diamonds.
Step two: Pay powerful people (in diamonds) to divorce their spouse, and marry you.
Step Three: Stay on their BLUE MOON, and train for an hour.
Yeilds: 25 levels up + 300mil+ in stats.
It is a pretty good deal. I've got 15k dimes right now, but by the time I'm done, I'll be lucky to have 5k dimes left. But my stats will be similar to behemoths.
I can't wait until I can do 149,001,865 points of damage, too.

If the saying is true that we are what we eat, aren't we all just cannibals?
Someone just did a drive by on me... wtf? And how many dimes does it usually take to get someone to marry you for an hour? AND HOW DO YOU GET 15K DIMES????

It can cost upwards of 5k dimes or more in order to rent the property for an hour.
If you can get into the chat, you can make a lot of money. I sold dimes today in the chat, outside the diamond mine, and got 5 times the price the diamond mine will allow you to list them for ($25m/dime). Think about it, if you were to sell your daily available allotment (20 dimes) for $25m/dime in the chat, you could turn around and buy 100 dimes at the mine and not be out any money.
Here's more ways to make money and potential allies. If you're on the chat and the game at the same time, check out the jail from time to time. If someone in the chat is in jail (and still online in the game), try to bust them out. If you succeed, post it in the chat (for example, "Timmee busted ScatterPlot out of jail"). Sometimes, the people you bust out will give you gifts. Other times, just their thanks. Some time when you're in jail, someone might just remember how you helped them once, and will try to help you.
Sometimes in the IRC chat, there's another room that opens up, called the trivia room. I participated a few times, and usually when you're the first one to get a question right, you win something. It may be med packs, jewelry, cars, or cash. There was even one question that I got right, that I won $10b for.

The best way I've been able to make money lately is by selling food items through the market.
The going rate is hovering between $10M and $15M per item right now so at the cost of only 15 nerve per item, it comes out to about a million bucks per nerve spent. Easy cash and you don't have to sacrifice your energy that could otherwise be used to train stats.
But don't everyone go flooding the market now...
See, I would donate and get 300M+ in each stat, buuuuuut... spending money on a browser-based game with limited peer interaction and poor game mechanics just seems like a waste of money that I should be using to buy beer instead. I guess I'll just stick with being a deadbeat non-donor.
Also, about the new property tax - it taxes both parties of a marriage but does it tax you if you don't have any money on hand or in your account? Can we simply transfer all the money to one spouse and dodge half of the tax? At almost $2M in tax per day per person for a large city, it might be worth doing. Just have one partner keep all the money. Thoughts?
Before: "You're playing with WHAT?"
After: "Crap! It's that guy with the pump!"
