i looked but could not find any articles about it, but a couple years ago in Japan this man and woman kiddnapped a family of like 6-7 people i think. they tortured and killed them off over a couple year period. It got down to where it was just the father and his daughter in the late teens. the two of them were held in a basement, chained up, naked and mostly exposed to the elements (extreme colds in the winter). Eventually they killed the father, diced him up and fed him to the daughter.

I dont recall how she got away, but i think she escapped and of course turned them in. I believe she just turned 18 a couple months ago.
