What a differance two coats of wax make

    I went from this

    To this

in about the course of an hour with one heavy coat of meguires cleaner wax and one light coat. I'm going to go at the grill and rims with some chrome polish and the flares with some back to black to see just how clean this thing will come. Problem is I almost feel bad about running her through the mud now, keyword ALMOST

Ever use a clay bar before? I used one on my car when I wax it before a local shine and show ... and that makes a huge difference to the shine also.

So buy one from me, this one is going to be up for sale in a couple weeks once I get my truck. I've had six or eight of these things, I go through em pretty quick. I'm thinking just above 3k for this one with all the options and both tops and sets of doors. I think I'm ready to give eBay another try too, it seems like they go for so much more on eBay you could make a living buying them and posting them on eBay.

Right now I'm searching for a pre 1980 Jeep, preferably a later CJ5 with the boxed frame to use as a plow vehicle.

I love it, and it pains me to let it go..needless to say, my first vehicle out of college will be a wrangler.

Wow... maybe I should try waxing some vehicles/tractors sometime!

LOL in the first pic you can see that the doors have been off quite a bit just from how much better the paint looks on them. The 2nd and 3rd pics though everything pretty much matches.

Yeah the doors are a lot closer now but they don't match perfectly, I have the original full doors that do match.

You should try some on your camo truck, see if you can't get a nice shine out of it. This paint isn't even clearcloated (rag was pulling up red paint) and it came out nicely. Now I just have to maintain it so it doesn't wear through all the paint useing the abrasive wax over and over again.

I second that motion. The clay works great.
