Well, school's out and this is what our day has degenerated into...

Oh man. Our school year has pretty much ended, it lets out about a month before everyone else in the local districts. basically it's a big day full of study halls and free periods for most of us seniors. Today the administration decided to give us garbage cans in the senior hallway. We weer supposed to use them to clean out our lockers. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. What were they used for? Fort building of course! Yes, a few guys decided to use the receptacles as building blocks for a grand castle. Lookouts were posted and talking became whispered and hushed inside when teachers walked by. When they passed, the noise went back to normal levels. Sadly, the fort only lasted 3 periods. As 5th period let out, two insurgents toppled the structure with a mighty attack. They blasted through the building with their shoulders and elbows. The sound was deafening and as the Physics profesor put it, "ah jesus, what a bunch of f---ing animals". Then I went back to painting my mural in one of the computer labs. Yes it has paintball in it. I'll post pics when we're finished. Should be a couple more days. Our deadline is Thursday, so hopefully I'll have pics of the finished job then or Friday. Here are pics of the Fort. And yes, it's an all boys Jesuit school. Hence the sign with red lettering. Hey, some of our faculty are female.

I am so honored to be a part of higher education lol...

thats pretty sweet. all the garbage cans at my school are bolted to the ground and surrounded in a metal cage. sounds weird when i write it down cuz my school really isn't all that ghetto.
i want to un-bolt them all and put them on the roofs in their respective places. it would be great.

hmmm....that picture is questionable....it almost looks like a locker room, theres a shirt draped over the trash cans, to guys standing next to each other, no girlss allowed, and the one guys face.....

It's actually the senior hallway, not the lockerroom.

Kevmaster, it's a joke lol. Most of us have the social skills neccesary to find girlfriends outside of school. The sign really came into play when our female calc teacher walked by. She was directed to look at the sign and just shook her head, smiling.

youre right though, going to an all boys school would suck.

having girls almost makes up for having another month of school... almost.

              ...oh god.

you know when you read something, and your mind goes off on a tangent, and then you reach some sort of realization that you wish you had never had?

in the past 4 years of school, i have had 3 female math teachers and 1 male math teacher. and out of those 4 teachers, the only one to ever wear a dress to class was... the male teacher.

and i would say "well, it IS massachusetts"... but this teacher is the head of my schools republican club.

Lol, I'd like to hear that story. Or would I?

And like I said, going to an all guys school isn't bad. Unless you're a total loser, meeting girls outside of school isn't hard. Besides, school time is about the academics. I would hate to be sitting in class worrying not only about my schoolwork but also about being presentable/impressing to girls. We can walk around with the same outfit for 3 days and never comb our hair. It's so much more laid back. That whole immature "impress the popular chick" game doesn't exist here. Most of us don't give a crap about not having girls in our school. Not that we're gay, it's because it really doesn't matter. Again, unless your weekends consist of dungeons and dragons (in which case you wouldn't be getting any at school anyways), then it's not hard to go outside and meet some girls. That whole excuse about "oh that sucks you don't have girls" is so pathetic.

I certainly would have done better in school without the distraction of girls....

my school has a "senior dressup day" on haloween, and sometimes the teachers join in. every year my math teacher crossdresses for senior dressup day.

then again, my school almost stopped having senior dressup day after last year, when "snow white and the 7 dwarves" got out of hand.

                    *raises hand*

its actually sort of funny, the girls i talk to on a regular basis outside of school i met either through robotics, engineering camp or paintball.

first of all, my post was more or less a joke, but the way you are responding youre acting like a guy cant be friends with a girl. I have a lot of friends who are girls, and school would suck without them.

Hey at least in all male school you don't have to hold in the farts during class.

Sorry I got so offended. You can't imagine the amount of times I've had to say all that to people. Some people are really serious about it, like that's a reason not to go to a school. And yeah I have girls who are friends besides my girlfriend. But I've met them at work or through my girlfriend. And yes, we don't have to hold farts in class.

Honestly it's not a big deal. Everyone thinks having no girls makes you insane or wierd or something, but I haven't met one guy who has dropped out because he couldn't handle that. If anything like I said, it's better this way.

Come on...that whole immature impress the popular chick game exists everywhere (unless, of course, we're talking about all boy schools.)
You can't tell me guys in your school don't try to impress the popular chick on a daily basis.

Anyway, warbreak really didn't sound that offended. All I got out of his post was a simple explanation on why he likes going to school where he does.

honestly, for me it probably would be a reason to not go to a school. i have too many friends who are girls. plus, if you have to do a group project at an all guys school, who is going to be the one to write?

I havent seen any of that since middle school, and that i know of there hasnt really been a "the popular chick" since then. ehh, maybe its just that i tend to dislike "popular" girls. or rather, i dislike any girl whos IQ never surpassed that of their 3rd grade class pet, there are some "popular" girls that dont fall under that category.
