If you werent paintballing; what would you do instead?

Snowboard
Surf on the warm days

Without it, you would probably see my on the evening news up in a bell tower somewhere with a sniper rifle and a big bag of burritos.

When I got into paintball it was either that or back into martial arts. Considering I had gotten to where point fighting no longer intersted me, and mild contact was getting annoying, it was probably best that I went into paintball.

Well if i wasnt playing paintball i would have enough money to build a race car and start racing again. Its been 5 years since i last raced and now i cant even go to the track anymore, it makes me want one even more. in all honesty i am sure i couldnt afford it then either, racing has gotten way to expensive these days.

for me if it wasnt paintball it would be real guns. before this i was really into skeet shooting. that was fun :)

What's wrong with being busy and active all the time? I don't necessarily see that as a downfall of youth.

I always have to be doing something. Boredom and I don't coexist well. I read, or run, or swim, or do anything I can to stop being bored. When I'm not playing paintball (which is most of the time), I like to harass Derek, make and sell jewelry, read, write, play rugby, swim, dive, etc.

I lost interest in playing paintball a long time ago. I might do the Shatner event or something, but otherwise I don't really want to play anymore.

I've even cut back big time on video games, although yes they can have their merits - good for your brain in some respects. I made the observation: Why level up my video game character when I can use that time level up myself?

I've been preferring my piano over video games for a while now. About once a week I go to the shooting range... poker twice a month. Hiking... etc.

My philosophy lately has been... I can do stuff that interest me while improving fitness... or improve something about myself, and not spend much or anything. I think that's a good use of time.

If it weren't for paintball I'd be collecting and working on pickups, nitro R/C cars, looking for ways to make more money, and working my butt off.
