Yeah ... from our clubs site;

After several months of preparation, Adam, Trent and I got the car to the track where we only got three runs in but re-established the FWD street-tire e.t. and mph records. We ran 11.58 at 126 mph on our second run only to lose a head gasket on the third run. We expected some issues so it was really no surprise but it was cool running well at least once.

I've gotten really active in the Tampa area VW clubs.... I've got a Mk V GTI... been starting to do basic bolt on stuff... should be getting the GIAC X+ Software this month (I hope...).

What is that? A MkII GTI? Turbo conversion?

I used to drive a Vr-4 Galant... the pred of the Evo. Now I drive a half-ton ext cab 4x4.

I used to drive a MKIV Jetta, now I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T 6-speed manual ... getting the APR chip done next month hopefully.

Cant really say everything that the car has done, but needless to say the engine in it was not orinally designed for that model year LOL .... or the next several ones LOL.

There are a couple guys in the area with Rabbits and MKII's that are running with 1.8T's and I know one guy was looking to put in a VR6 into on of his cars.
