Ever since I got a pickup I've wanted to put a bbq in the bed behind the sliding glass window. Meat > Vegtables

Yeh cause there mustn't be any bad fumes in an engine compartment.. that just can't be healthy. I haven't seen an engine compartment clean enough that I'd want to cook in it in a long long time.

I've cooked things directly in fire... That's why you wrap the food in tin foil.

Fire is far different than oil and coolant burning off an engine...

unless they only use the radiant heat from an engine/exhaust system, theres nothing unclean about radiant heat...

How many engines you been under lately that you think are not burning some form of coolant, gas, oil, etc. or have an exhaust leak somewhere in the engine compartment?

For that matter when was the last time you had good access to any hot part of an engine on a new car?
