Ok. Here's the deal. Tomarow I'm about to unlease hell on unsaid manager/supervisor.
I work all the time. I got bills I need to pay off, more than I make. A day off screws me over. I request a day off to go get new glasses. I broke my old pair. I'm insured by spectera. Their website, mr HR Manager, and everything else says: Go to the Maine Mall. There is a place called Pro Vision inside that is covered by my vision insurance that will give me free glasses every two years.
I go to this said place I forgot "Spectra" I gave them my work place. They said "I dunno." I figured I didnt have enough info. I go to the other two places in the mall. Got the same reply. I go online get all the info I need, confirming the first place I went to was the place I can get free glassses, so said by the insurance policy and my HR manager. They told me my insurance had nothing to do wih them. I walk like 2 miles to the other end the mall AGAIN to go to the other vision centers. They told me NO.
I'm like WTF. I go to the orignal place, I KNOW it was the right place and the people must have been new and not know what was going on. I find the frames I like, and give them my prescription. A copy of which I have gotten two pairs of glasses with before. The same DAMN copy. "Sorry this is no good, you need to get something different for prescription"
Ok so I'm mad. Maybe the other two places, two different places I've lived were idiots and gave me prescription glasses when they were not supposted to. But I called up my insurance and CONFIRMED this place was the place.
I wasted about an hour of my time, my gas in a big truck. Told 3 times to go away.
I switched shifts tomarow with a part timer, so I don't work till 1PM. I have time to go.
Am I 100% right to expect something from them? They basically told me to %@#OI% off 3 times. I'm going to go BE%%#$&* at them tomarow. Maybe it''s my insurance company that is just messed up.
But I've been trying to not be the total jerk I am known as lately.
Should I flip out about this or not? Friends are going to be supportive so screw them. I'm asking strangers
