Lol... 111* isn't that bad for playing paintball
My buddies and I played in 113 degree weather and it was probably 80% humidity or higher cause we played on the riverbottom after a rain. That was nasty. Mosquitos were everywhere so we put on bug spray and the oil in the bug spray caused us to cook in the sun even worse. I think we each drank a gallon (or more) of water that afternoon.
But seriously airsoft at 10:00 - 1:00 in the evening sounds like it's much better than cooking in the desert.
My Feedback -
i personaly have never in my live played or seen anybody play airsoft, however it is to my understading that there are some commecial airsoft fields around... i think i might have heard of one mentioned in Canada. if i were you id play on a golf course, it sounds so much more fun.
whats the effective range on thoughs things anyway?

Yeah usually it's bone dry here, but that day it was bad! I hate humidity with a passion as well. Like you say it's like you can't breathe cause the air is so thick.
We've got mosquitoes all the time though.
At least during the day they go into hiding and come out in the cool morning time and evenings after the sun goes down. They're so thick that if you stop and listen you can hear this annoying buzzing in the air from the thousands of them flying around.
Well I'm off to bale some hay! What's your prices for hay at these days in AZ? We're getting $6.00 a bale for alfalfa and $7.00 for grass mix.Last edited by billybob_81067; 06-14-2006, 05:31 AM.My FeedbackComment

Here in MN it's not well known but if you go to the airsoft forum you see that they have a lot of open playes. (mnairsoft.org) Personally I have a TM famas and a sig 226. My friend is hard core into airsoft and has a lot of AEGs and gas guns. We just play in the back yard mostly.Comment

about a year ago when i was bucking hay here in soutern ca alfalfa was selling for about $13 for a 120 lb bale. Thats at a feedstore, its a little cheaper by the truck load. I sure dont miss the days of stacking 100 bales of 120 lb hay 5 high in a 120 degree barn wearing pants and chapsOriginally posted by billybob_81067Well I'm off to bale some hay! Had to laugh at this. Be a bad combo when I confused my Sig P226 airsoft marker for my Sig P229 .357 Sig pistol.Originally posted by Mikey BHere in MN it's not well known but if you go to the airsoft forum you see that they have a lot of open playes. I don't think my friends would be ok with me having anything near me meant to shoot at them that looked like a real gun and wasn't.

The brand is very important in airsoft to the quality. Like Army Concepts is big and Tokyo Marui. You get what you pay for. If you airsoft gun is not designed to shoot at least .2gram BBs do not even buy it. Like I payed $400 when it can down to the battery, charger, sights and gun for my Tokyo Marui Steyr AUG. Of course it is full weight and size. I would say it is about 9 pounds or so.
Just like paintball, airsoft is huge in the Atlanta Area. Try Airsoft Atlanta or check out their web site.President and Founder University of Dubuque Paintball Club

oOPS
I never did say that it was a Classic Army.
I like that aug that you have. We have one up on our gun wall.
I got the classic army one because our shop carrys all of the parts and add ons for it. I never like buying something that I will not be able to find parts for... thus why I like mags.Comment

Tokyo Mauri ftw. My friend has had two Classic Army guns conk out from motor troubles, an M4 and an MP5, the MP5 just last night. I prefer JUST playing with gas pistols, I find it so much more satisfying when you run around a corner and just shoot the hell out of someone. Way too hot in the day here, too, we play airsoft at night on my friends land. Check out www.shortyusa.com for buying online, it's a great little store.Comment

my mistake on the Classic Army calling it Army Concepts...The store I go to has all the parts I need to upgrade my Aug so I'm good but yes it is a very good idea to get a gun that your store carries all the parts.President and Founder University of Dubuque Paintball Club
