    Airbrushing

I just went to an art store yesterday with my sister, and was looking around and found a little gun like object. Intrigued, I asked a few questions and found out it was an airbrushing tool.

My question to you guys is, who has done it? How would you guys reccomend starting it? I figure the only way is to just start practising, but maybe there is some magical other way...

For those of you who are even more ignorant than me...

Airbrushing is fun, and pretty versitle.

If you do get one, I strongly suggest a double action model. That will allow you to turn the air on first, then control the amount of paint you are spraying independantly. When I was playing with airbrushing Iwata made really good airbrushes. I have an HP-C that I was very happy with.

I second Iwata. They make great products. I have the Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS. It's a wonderful tool to work with. You are correct in assuming that you just need to practice to learn it. Definitely get a double-action whatever brand you choose. Single action isn't much better than using a rattlecan. Check out the forums at Airbrush.com for more info.
