    She's here...

My first child was born today, well technically yesterday since its 2am now.

It was crazy. Both my wife and I work 2nd shift (get off work at 10pm) so we crash about 2 on average. So last night we hit the sack at about 2 and literally 2:05 she turns over and says "ummm my water just broke" so we get everything together and hit the hospital about 7. Spend ALL day waiting for the contractions to get strong enough to actually induce full on labor and at 5:55pm they are strong enough and by 6:21 our daughter was born. Not bad... 30mins about for a first born. My wife loved it cause the epidural (spellcheck?) pretty much made it a no-painer. We were just running off no sleep... thank you Red Bull!

Lillian Mackenzie was born at 6:21pm PST on 6/19/06. Weighing in at a whopping 8lbs .04oz and 21 inches!

                            Pshhh...I weighed 9lbs. 8oz. when I was born.
I was also a miracle baby. I was pretty messed up, so the doctors wanted to abort me. I came out a blueish color from the umbilical cord being wrapped around my neck, and I guess I had a broken collar bone, but that could have been from being so fat when they delivered me. :)

                            Congratulations on your baby!
