Anyone fix a Canon Digital before?

So I finally got around to locating an OEM Canon LCD for my SD300 that didn't break the bank. After a drunken night, I had sat on mine and shattered the screen. Anyone take one of these a part? I'm pretty handy and I used to repair cell phones, but should I expect any surprises?

I have not taken apart a Canon, but I have had a few other digital P&S's apart and I have yet to sucessfully be able to repair them. Good luck.

      LOL, thanks.

Fortunately, from what it looks like, the screen is very accessible -- undo the case, unclip the LCD ribbon, lay the new LCD down, redo the LCD ribbon, and redo the case.

      We'll see what happens!
