I have the option of honering a military serviceman by wearing their name on a yellow ribbon on my football helmet. I was wondering if I could have the priveledge of sporting the name of an AO'er. If anyone would like to have their name on my helmet as I smash some faces I would be honered. I can only have one, so whoever I can work it out with will get it. I have to have a name within 12 hours. Thanks.

I am in the military and on my way to work so I can't give to many details. But it would be nice if you would wear the name of a friend of mine that died. He did not die in combat as he would have liked but after doing a morning PT run in New York.
He was a very good friend with a wife and three kids left behind.
His name is CPT Carter Palmer.
If you do wear his name please let me know as I would really appreciate it. He is now resting in Arlington Cemetery.
Thanks,
MAJ Michael "Patrick" Conway -
I would love to play in the memory of him. I am very sorry that he died. I hope I can help win some games for him. I am truly honered. His name will stay on my helmet untill the end of the season, and I hope I can take it to state.Originally posted by eadtfI am in the military and on my way to work so I can't give to many details. I'm not sure about the size, We are having them made now. I requested that they add a star or something of that sort because he died, and they said that would be good. I believe the ribbons were only 2"x 1", they wouldn't allow any larger. That was a great story patrick, and I don't think there is anyone more deserving of recognition. I am glad I can support him.Comment
