Bingo. Nothing is worth it if it isn't hard. You get what you put into a relationship. If you work harder, it will be stronger. My gf and I are going into this new phase already having a really strong, cemented relationship. Listen to the older folks warn you of course. But also ask yourself whether they had the patience and ability to keep a serious relationship going. Probably not. A long distance relationship that fails only fails because someone or both partners got lazy or they weren't serious to begin with. Besides, I'll see her on every break and summers and all that crap. We'll only be apart for 2-3 months at a time. Oooooh, big deal. If you can't handle that, you shouldn't be in a serious relationship because you have the maturity and focus of a 4yo.

we didnt have sex, it was everything but, there were a few problems with the relationship, and i just stopped thinking with my penis and ended it before stuff got past what i wanted it to be.
