Well, I played at top gun for the first time 2 weeks ago and I had a great time. usually I play at fireball mountain, but top gun is much better. I also had the chance to play with some of the guys from quiet storm, they were pretty good and even gave me some tips and stuff. But anyway, one of them said that they would be having tryouts on the 24th. my question is do any of you guys have any suggestions or what I should expect?

UTDSEAL- I don't think we have a practice that day. But it would be cool if we could get our team to play another team and get pointers. If not it will just be a fun day of paintballin.

Even though Top Gun is expensive, it is better than most other fields.

I think there might be a Roughneck practice day that day, but I'm not sure. We'll talk about that later anyway.

yeah i also thought top gun was pricey at first, but after that day I felt it was worth it. They'll be seeing more busness from me in the future. What other teams play there? So far i only know that the Knights and Ballbusters play there regularly. But i haven't met them yet. Are there any other teams looking for another player? I want to finally get into tournament play this year.

Are you sure? I talked to team memeber of quiet storm and he said they were starting a new 5man team and that they were looking to fill some spots. Do you have any way i can contact them or the captain? The captain seemed like a nice guy, I think he was also in some magazines.

yes, he is a nice guy and has been in the magazines a few times. after i told him about this thread he seemed pretty sure that he had no idea about the "tryouts". he narrowed it down to who could of told you about the "tryouts".

Ok, that was wrong on my part. But I think i have a good idea on who you might be.

It is true that I'll be creating a new 5man team, I decided to do this since my 1st and 2nd squad will be combining and concentrating on the 10man events such as the NPPL. The new QS will be doing mostly local events in the NY,NJ and PA area. If I feel they are ready and if they feel they are ready, perhaps they'll make an appearence at the Diablo IAO and compete. So far I have 4 key prospects and I'm looking for 2 more. The "tryouts" as the lovely Graycie mentioned to me before, was just an idea I was playing with. I'm not confirming, nor am I denying that we will have tryouts, but as of now I'm kinda leaning in that direction.
