Ipod problem...

Buddy gave me his ipod to put some of my music on.

I plug it in, the screen goes dim, and frozen.

Windows says 'cannot recognize usb device'



So, my computer cant recognize it, and it seems like its dead. Is there a way to reboot it?

hold center button and bottom at same time for i think either 5 or 10 seconds. or maybe its center and top button....

if that works, download podutil and copy all his songs
