What really pissed me off was the third news article link, where the lady who was on the plane assumed that he flushed the soggy ipod down the toilet when he saw it drop and relized it was broken. I mean... if your ipod drops into the toilet and you flush it, what do you expect happens to it... Also, most ipods have some identifiable info on them. Mine has my name.
I really don't know about shens witht he customs official. He might have been sprucing up the story, but if the custom's official really said those things, I would say right on for standing up to him.
Stupid arrogant officials think they're above the law...
