Cant tell if this fan will fit my cpu...

I'm looking for a new heatsink and fan for my computer. And I'm not sure what will fit..
I have an AMD athlon XP 3200+

Now I was looking that theThermaltake Volcano 12 And it says "Application for AMD Athlon XP up to 3400+ & AMD Sempron up to 2800+" Does this mean athlon xp cpus newer then 3400+ or not newer then 3400+ ???

You'll be fine with that cooler. There are better ones out there, but it depends on how much you want to spend. Look into Thermalright or Zalman for nice heatsinks. The stock fan and heatsink should be fine anyway.
