i put a new water pump on my truck today and in the box was a paper that said something about it being a reverse water pump or something . and ive driven about 25 or so miles and popped the hood and squeezed the top rad hose and i didnt feel the coolant surge through. but it was hot and the bottom hose was kind of warm , could the auto parts store ( vip ) given me the wrong pump , vehicle is 89 sierra 2wd w/350 or is there just air trapped in there , after i put it on i filled it back up with coolant. thanks
