Week 1 update (with pics) pond pr0n1

Been home for one week now; aside from other things I worked on this:

    Before:

It used to be a rosebed...

    After:

    View from our master bedroom.

There are 3 submerged blue lights inside the pond but you of course cannot see them in the daytime.

There are still some finishing touches to be made, but you get the idea.

Why is that turtle vomiting into your pond?

Nice recon, are you planing of stocking fish in there?

I say add some cap to the block work and fill with a colored mulch (cranberry color always looks good) or decortive stone (Spardust or a colored lava rock) to give you that finished look.

If you need any help with landscape work I can give you a hand if you need it.

Well, I didn't think you'd make the trip over It turned out to much more work than I thought it would be. I do have mulch down, it is black! I had to change out the fountain already because the water line had a leak, my pond was losing water. Put on a fountain head for the filtered water return too, so now instead of jus bubbling up, it creates a water globe effect. I may add some small fish after we finish making any changes to the pond but i'm a bit worried the cats will just remove the fish...they seem quite captivated with the pond.

                  I like my squirttle

God I'm getting blind sry didn't notice it but it looks blended pretty damn good. If your worry about the cars add some top water plant life like lilly pads grrrrrrrrrrr brain fart, theres another but I can think of it. But when a cat reaches in the water fish naturally run under that for cover.

I never had the Black mulch match up to a home up around here so that got to be pretty interesting and different.

Well, I didn't think you'd make the trip over
Lol Just pay me enough then I will

I have found that ponds make great settings for pictures. I do almost all of my marker photoes on the rocks of the waterfall in my pond.
