small plane crashes into High Rise Condo in NYC

Unlikely that it is terroris activity, probably just a horrible accident, or snakes on a plane (i know very tasteless and not even funny)

A small aircraft crashed into a high-rise building on Manhattan's Upper East Side Wednesday, igniting a raging fire, killing at least two and trapping people on the floors above the point of impact.

CNN is saying that the pilot was Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle. There was apparently another passenger on the plane. We don't know who it was yet. The crash apparently did not cause any structural damage as it didn't penetrate the building. It simply exploded on the side of the building and fell to the ground. It did basically ignite someone's living room though. Witnesses and personel from the tower say that there was a problem with the plane and the pilot appeared to be desperately trying to land at the nearest runway. He did make distress calls. I personally don't think this was suicide caused by the Yankees dropping out of the play offs. I really think Lidle was having problems with the aircraft. Poor guy.

The pilot was Lidle according to ESPN. 2 died thus far, Lidle and one person in the building according to the guy ESPN had reporting from NYC. Witnesses said that Lidle's plane was flying erratically before it crashed according to some dude from the NYPD. Too bad...
