    Pandora.com

Does anyone else use this? I've been playing around with it all day and it's neat as hell. It's basically an online music radio site...kinda. Take 30 seconds, let them walk you through their introduction- it's really easy and it's a great idea that has been implemented very well.

Play the songs, albums, playlists and podcasts you love on the all-new Pandora. Sign up for a subscription plan to stream ad-free and on-demand. Listen on your mobile phone, desktop, TV, smart speakers or in the car.

So far I've loved EVERYTHING that they have played for me.

EDIT: The site's service is based on the Music Genome Project: http://www.pandora.com/mgp.shtml

Well I typed in Led Zeppelin because that's my favorite band. The second song was Motorhead's cover of Louie Louie which I do not like. So... didn't work for me. Next song was another Zeppelin song, and after that was Alright Now by Free. I do like these. So the second song was a mistake, but after that it has been pretty good. I'm interested to see if it makes any more mistakes.

Yup I'm still listening to it. It's kind of cool. Nothing new. Yahoo music has the same thing. You can make your own station.

lol, we've been doing this at school for weeks now in journalism... When we get bored we play around on the computers in the back room, and since everything fun is blocked, but pandora's not, we usually turn it on on one of the comps...
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

Well, I tried "Vangelis" and all was well until, 3 selections later, I got Yanni. What the hell? That's like typing in John Coltrane and getting Kenny G.

Despite that, I can already tell that I am going to like this. It just associated Dreamtheater with Rush, which is pretty cool.

Just think of it as six degrees of separation. I'm sure there'sa way to search Iron Maiden and hit Yanni somehow.

Yeah it picked up some King Crimson for me when I typed in Dream Theater

I found it to be better than Pandora.com It gives you what you want and some similar artists. They dont have everyt song, but they have alot. It provides you with streaming music for as long as you wish.
