Well, today was my turn for car troubles. I got out of class today at about 1:30. So I walk to my car with my girlfriend (we car pool), get in, and start to leave. I was fiddling with my MP3 player that was hooked up throught my cars cassette player as we came around to the exit gate. I *barely* chirped the curb and shrugged it off. I drove to the exit gate, rolled down my window and inserted my little parking pass card and the gate went up. I start to go again and all of a sudden my car is lop sided and pulling to the right. I pull into a blocked off parking lot exit like I would a drive way and get out to see what's wrong.
Some how I popped my front passenger seat tire. Neither of us heard a pop or a hiss, but still it was completely flat. Torn right below the hubcap. After ensuing the joys of grabbing my spare donut tire, WD40-ing the jack all to hell (there was more rust on that thing than you'd believe), removing and finally replacing the tire, the spare ended up also being flat. So, then we had to search for a gas station to fill it. Not really being familiar with the area, it was pretty crazy. We found a BP and also found their air pump was out of order. So we drove some more. We found a Circle K, same thing. Finally we got to a GetGo and filled the tire.
We got onto the highway fine to started home going at about 45mph with my hazard lights on so I wouldn't hurt my axel any, plus it was only a 60psi tire. I get into town, go to a local tire shop, get it replaced, and go to pay only to find out my card is being declined for some gay reason. My girl and I walked about 1/4 mile in the pouring rain to get to a bank, withdrew some cash, and walked 1/4 mile, while it's still pouiring, back. I payed, we got in the car, and I took her home. Then I went home.
Like I said, I got out of class and started to leave at 1:30. I didn't get home until 5:30, and my girlfriend was late for work.
So I didn't get to mail the gun I just sold (sorry Pat), and now I have biggest headache in the world. I usually don't get stressed out, at all, but OMG today was too much to handle. I'm going to go get stoned off of Motrin and go to sleep, then wake up and do some homework...
Oh, and for you Ohioans, I go to school at Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College), and I live in Cuyahoga Falls, and my girl in Stow (both right outside of Akron). Just so you kinda know the length of the drive. Going 45 on a 65 highway, people were pissed, and I felt really wierd.
