AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i washed the jeep, was going to take pictures again but its raining
rawr. stupid texas weather. i wish i had some cool offroad pics..

LOL billy I hate you (because I want a diseil) but nice truck seriously, I love PS for the fact they are a awesome powerhouse for work trucks, Come on my bro owned 4 7.3's. And they made money for him like crazy. Alot had to do with Ford's frame flex and leafs in front
But I still got to give it up to Dodge's Cummins. It's sound is like Butter.
Ha Duramax, duder don't make me laugh. Me and bro went down to Monroe in IL to test out there Chevy 5500 Landscape rig, To put a long story short (yeah its gearing) but I could get out and walk faster when it was in reverse, Bad for plowing, thus he spent the extra for the Peterbilt.
Personal note I spec out his trucks, it was either a Dodge or Ford depending on what job he wanted it to do. And it came down to this, and to make it short.
Ford Powerstroke F350/450/550 7.3L (6.0L soon) - Everyday workers i.e. Dumps, Medium/Part time heavy pull's for landscape and commerical cutting, Plowing and salting commerical accounts, Chipper boxes.
Dodge Cummins/1500 5.9L - Speciality/light pull i.e Bucket Trucks, Flatbeds, Spraying, Bed Maintance, and resdential cutting/landscape accounts, plowing and salting resdential accounts, also sidewalk crew
Peterbilt - The one single axle Dump was scheduled for Mulch/Dirt/Stone/Gravel/TB dropoff and Fall clean ups, Heavy pull for Municpal cutting accounts, Heavy landscape jobs.

Just picked up the SRT 8 tonight. My god....it's amazing.
Within minutes, I had the Nav radio linked to my RAZR and I was making phone calls just through voice command. The backup camera system is a riot to use, and it handles like a race car. Truely an amazing vehicle. Remote start is fun too, while signing papers in the dealership I hit the remote start button and scared some dude who was gawking at it. I've named it "The Sled" and when it roared to life, the guy hopped back and loooked around >_> <_<
Horray for night time pics. Sorry for the darkness, my Speedlight hasen't come in yet for my XTi
Well, I must say its certainly Flashy...lots of bling to be had. In the way of options it does everything but drive and make your coffee in the morning for you.
It has enough power and speed to maybe accomidate the 180 mph speedomter its sporting....
Its the Rolls Royce of Jeeps for sure, if your into that sort of thing.
But, it has the price tag to go with it, I'm sure you'll have a very pimp group of people oogling your ride.
but, sadly it wouldn't get my vote...if my vote counted for something!
I just looked up the price...damn, you could have bought a Vette!
AND it would be slower...AND I wouldn't be able to carry my paintball gear...AND the vette is not All Wheel Drive, AND the vette wouldn't have come with rear DVD entertainment....Brembo brakes.....UConnect voice activated bluetooth phone integration.....etc.
So no, I wouldn't buy a Vette. Besides, my 2006 Z06 suites me just fine for the weekends.

It's the price of exclusivity, sure enough. They only make 3,300 of them a year. Personally, I feel it's a very understated look. Powerful and bold, but not very "blingy". And the price tag = a phenomenal value if you ask me. You will not find a vehicle of similar performance, luxury, and techno-features in the price range of my sled.
that SRT is nearly as fast as our Croosfire SRT6 (altough hopefully it will have some additions made to it soon). Must be nice to have all that power and still have space to carry everything you need.
