    scam ?

    Hi Chris,
After the receipt of your mail i contacted my client,he instructed me to carry on with the transaction. He said that I should inform you that payment will get to you in a certified cashier 's check of $6,000.00 which is a refund payment of a cancelled order earlier made by my client.Due to company policy this check has to be made out in this amount to you, because company policy only allows a refund payment on one cashier check,so you are required to deduct cost of your 1965 pontiac catalina- $2,500.00 when payment gets to you and refund balance $3,500.00 to my customer's shipping agent via western union money transfer or moneygram transfer for him to be able to offset shipping charges. After payment has reached you and balance sent back to his shipping agent who will come for the pick up and drive to a prepaid shipper to be shipped to my customer, while title papers and other necessary documents should be made available on the day of pickup. Please Confirm this and provide name, address and phone number for check payment to be delivered to you via courier. Thanks and God bless.Management

Total scam. The "money order" is fake. Ignore them.

You send them the difference, then the money transfer gets cancelled and they get your $3500.

Beware e-mails that try to sound official but don't capitalize or put spaces in between their sentences.

Isn't it also a good idea to not trust anything that mentions Western Union?

For the most part i would think not. Its an obvious scam when they want a refund. Or talk about their client.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices

Jesus, soopa, you have to be kidding. 1998 called, and they want their fairly obvious scam back.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.
