Borat a tool? Yah, literally!

Cohen, a devout Jew who keeps kosher and the Sabbath when possible, says he purposely made his character prejudiced.

"Borat essentially works as a tool," the 35-year-old British comedian tells the magazine in an interview conducted before the film's opening.

"By himself being anti-Semitic, he lets people lower their guard and expose their own prejudice, whether it's anti-Semitism or an acceptance of anti-Semitism," he says.

Not that I condone all this Borat stuff and everything, but I thought this was a very interesting excerpt from and article I was reading.

As most probably already know, Borat has ticked a lot of people off and there are a lot of lawsuits saying that people were "duped" into acting like idiots and embarassing themselves.

Isn't it interesting what we will do when we think nobody is looking?

Basically, by having Borat act in a prejudiced manner people lower their guard and think it's "ok" to act the same way instead of taking a stand for what they know is right and telling Borat he's an imbecile.

They all signed waivers prior to the movies construction and release, so none of their lawsuits will hold water. The best lawsuit was one of the college boys claiming "Borat portryed me as an achoholic patry animal." Upon examination of his myspace/facebook page, every single picture had him crunked, holding a beer @ a party, or being absolutly rediculous.

I love borat. I love Ali-G more. And Cohan made the best comedy I seen in a time. Unlike most movies, that was definately worth paying to seeing in the theaters.

Yeah and its really ironic that he can speak hebrew fluently. As a matter of fact when he is speaking "Kazakstanian" in the film it is actually hebrew.

Hey, someone has already gotten pissed off at Sasha (Borat). He was beat up a few days ago.

Of course this was because Borat said "I like your clothes. Let me have sex with them"

Do you guys think the P. Anderson scene at the end is set-up (was she in on it the whole time?) . I just think security guards would have been on his *** pronto, and they wouldn't let him chase her around. I don't know, it just seems to extreme to be real.
