Eh, Killswitch is training wheels. But then, you're young, so at least you're headed in the right direction.

Haven't heard their new album, but I have several older ones.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

      Agreed.
Then Again, this isn't 'Nam Ricker. It's AO.

And for Final Jeopardy, can anyone tell me what genre uses the following style of vocals?

The new album is good. The lyrics are a little emo, but I like it better than The End of Heartache. Check it out, its worth the money.

Enlighten us, oh Ricker, as to what comes when we take off the training wheels!

although there is nothing wrong with killswitch engage, there is far more stuff out there. Killswitch engages name has been kind of tarnished amongst some metal fans since they have become sort of big time. still nothing wrong with them if you ask me. as far as other metal it depends on wich road you want to go down... i highly suggest swedish melodic death metal. but thats just me, although i have no favorites in the genre i just like listening to it alot.

here are a few of swedish's best (or so random links tell me this)

I have always liked KSE, and I never understood that whole "sold out" thing. It's kinda like all of us AOers not respecting any of the AGG kiddies, cause we think they are tools. Which they are of course, but I digress.

I'm just glad to see they made another album, and haven't dropped off the face of the earth.

I saw KE w/ In Flames in Denver CO, it was a KE vs In Flames, just like how punk bands do when they do a v.s. show . well, anyway, Inflames played before KE, the place was packed, after I.F. played, half the crowd left when Killswitch was suppose to play. obviously, In Flames won that night, great show over all.

                      oh yea,,

Adrian went to Cradle of Filth, and I'm not even sure he still drums for them.

The Bjorler Brothers went to The Haunted.

When They played here a few years ago in San Diego, it was the exact opposite.

Killswitch had little to no crowd, and the place was PACKED when In Flames played.

Also: Depending on What don Miguel is into, though I doubt it...
I would reccomend Bands like Putrid Pile, Or Job for a Cowboy.
Get some Grindcore, Goregrind, Or Gorecore into him.
