I havn't personally, but someone here http://www.snowboard-forum.com/message-board-forum/ may have, there is like 8 people on the boards year round and we pick up a few during the season...but ask over there someone will probably know something about them...

I have a pair. I've had them for a long time. Probably like 6 years. They don't have much support left, but that's how I like it. They're very comfortable for me. If they hold up, then I plan on keeping them for a while longer. I used to wear them when I drove to the mountain, they're as comfortable as sneakers.Comment

Good pair of boots to look into are 32's..i hear nothing but good about them and they have that whole heat molding system.Originally posted by rkjunior303Anyone ride in these boots? Thoughts?

I just started riding over the winter last year so I'm still learning. I picked up my own gear and I think I might have skimped a little bit on the boots.
I picked up a pair of Solomons new for like $160. .They seemed OK last season but I have a feeling they don't give me the support I need - maybe TOO flexy? I need to ride in them a few times this year I think but I've been thinking of getting something a little stiffer. Maybe it's just my hockey head getting in the way thinking that they should be much stiffer.
We're skipping out of work on Friday to ride up to Killington for the day to get the first runs in of the season.. Should be interesting since I can barely make it off the lift let alone ride, and they wanna push me down a blue..
"you'll learn quicker!"
yeah, right.

There is no universal "right" amount of support it's just whatever is comfortable to you, i pefer a little room to move or i feel like im unbalanced. It could just be that they need to be broken in, not sure ive used what looked like pretty much brand new boots before, but who knows how long they were ridden in. If i dont buy all my own equipmnent soon im going to atleast buy as nice pair of boots. Before i got back into paintball i almost bought a full set up ...then decided other wise, but from the research i did 32's seemed like the best boots...look good, good company, price isnt bad, and the heat molding seems nice as well it should help ewith the breaking in.
A blue? That all? First time i EVER got on a lift i made the mistake of doubling up and when my friend got off i didnt quite make it, well then i was gonna jump, but i would have landed on him..so i just rode it to the next stop..well that happend to be to the biggest peak in on the East coast..something like 4200 feet high, first time ever on a board and lift, around 9 pm with ICE, they groomed the snow and the temp dropped so it turnd to hard packed granular/ice...so my first time on a lift i ended up on a Black diamond...i walked down, glad i did too because it had a wicked curve...
That same weekend i was riding blues with no problem. Then next time i strted riding black diamonds...just remeber you only go as fast as you allow yourself to go.
Im goin to WV on the 16..can't wait..be there for like a week should be sweet, ive never been to the place though so it will be a little different.
Oh and a big thing is make sure your binding are at a good angle..that was the biggest problem i had, i could not turn and had such a hard time then i started messing with my bindings and Wah-Lah...anyway...let us know how the blue goes.
