anyone who knows physics of springs HELP

    ok heres the link

    number 6

now my question is, if she wants the force needed from 0 to 9 inches past natural why did she use 3/4 on the second integral?????? because 9 inchs of 24 inches is .375 and 3/4 of 24 is 18 inches. did she mess up??/
    thanks to all

I think what it is is that the limits on the integral are in feet, hence her using a 2 in the first integral. If the spring goes from 0 to 9 inches in the second case, thats going from 0 to 3/4 feet.

This is why units should always be written in.

what class is this for? calc II maybe. If so it is the hardest one. calc III, and diff eq are much easier.
