as for me, i think my favorite power metal (i dont listen to it much) bands are:

Is Wolfmother metal? I like twisted sister, but I consider that more Classic Rock.

I really really really really like Wolfmother. They have a killer classic rock sound to them. It's like they resurrected Zeppelin and gave it a fresh breath of life. They're the resurgence of the power trio. If you've never listened to any Wolfmother, I reccomend the following songs:
